Phlebotomy Program
Occupational Objective: The graduate should be able to acquire an entry-level position in Phlebotomy. This course includes the working knowledge of specimen collection procedures, techniques, specimen requirements, point of care testing. The graduate will also be familiar will the most up to date OSHA guidlelines. The graduate will have the working knowledge to take them into the work environment.

Occupational Objective: The graduate should be able to acquire an entry-level position in a medical office as a medical biller or coding specialist. Medical billing and coding is an important healthcare profession and is one of the few that doesn’t require direct contact with patients. Medical biller and coders have many titles; health information coder, medical coding specialist, coding specialist, or health information technician. Obtaining a healthcare career in a short period of time is part of the reality of being a medical coder.

Occupational Objective: The graduate should be able to acquire an entry-level position in a medical office as a front office medical assistant. The front office medical assistant is able to work in a variety of settings including physicians offices, medical centers, clinics, hospitals, nursing homes, ambulatory care centers, and medical billing offices.
